B R O A D B A N D in the desert!
wow! really excited about internet access from the trailer. I now have a broadband connection. No phone line, no utility electricity, and I can post to my blog whenever I feel like it. Yahoo! Here is a picture of me in my new hat. Still enough sun to use it. Today I gathered Mesquite beans and I plan to make some flour and then, pancakes, tortillas? Who knows.
Tomorrow I'm a special guest at the elderly center in district 5. I will be making 4 pies with the ladies using native squash. I typed up my recipe. Maybe someone will want to buy pies for the holidays...? Who knows. We'll see.

CASA GRANDE AZ
80s, nice, cold seat in the outhouse. The weather has definitely changed. Got a little sad in October because winter is on his way, but, I've been making pies and taking sunbaths here to ease the pain of summer's passing.
Hmmmm....since last writing, I've had a great visit in California. I think I was there for almost three weeks. Went to Bioneers!!! Pretty groovy. Want to go again next year. Check out bioneers.org for more info. On the third day I was getting a little tired and I was starting to hear the same message over and over again, however, it was nice to have 3 days to focus on ways to save the world. Also, it was very nice to be able to see Mt. Tamlapias when I went outside on breaks. I stayed at Lisa's and I was happy to be with my peeps.
Um, let's see, seems like a lot happened while there. Sara (WELRP, MN) was in town and Keisu and I dragged her around San Francisco. That was fun, except for the frozen crab at the Franciscan. Should have known better, but that place has changed hands and has taken a turn towards something like, "understated sophistication." blehck.
We had a hot fudge sundae at Ghiradelli, went to GG park, tea in the Japanese tea garden, did the crookedst street gig and had dinner @ Michelangelos after a book thing at City Lights. Pretty corny, but I like that stuff.
Oops, battery low, gotta go!
over and out, D
