puppies Puppies PUPPIES!

It's puppy season here in Arizona. Both Brownie and Whitey are mothers now. Mmmm, I think Whitey's babies were born around February 2 and Brownie's Feb 12 or 13, making 6 new Aquarians in Mendozaville.
Whitey did have three babies, but two of them didn't make it. Now she has one fat little baby, who just took her first steps. Brownie has five babies, 2 boys and 3 girls. She had them in the middle of the night in the house (lots of noise) and we moved them outside a few days afterwards. She has since made a little cave for her and her babies under the back steps, so we haven't seen the babies for a few days. Angel pretty much took over Brownie's nest the day she had the pups, hence the displace mother has made her own (good for her).

The mommies are back to barking and running out to meet us when we drive in. They have their youthful figures back, but with bigger boobies. Geeze, they're only about one year old themselves. Anyway, have found a low cost spay/neuter option for them already and homes for 3 of the six puppies too.

I am writing this in Casa Grande AZ. Today was federal tax return preparation day...whew...not as bad as I had feared. Actually, my return is pretty simple. I'm glad to have it dealt with before I leave for Pawis, Fwance. Also taking care of car insurance, storage room, etc. For such a simple life, there seems to be a lot to deal with.

Ed is at an organic farming conference in NM for a few days, so it's party time out here baby. Who knows what me and the girls will cook up. Actually, it's a little lonely every once in a while. I wonder what it will be like being by myself for nine months...hint hint to anyone interested in visiting...but, seriously, I have been avoiding the fact that I am leaving and have only been focused on going towards something. So much for living in the present moment. Lots of thoughts swirling around.

I am looking forward to being in Calif for a few days before mom and I take off. STEFANO! I want you to give us a ride to the airport so I can get to see you up close.

It's off to partyville for me. Maybe I'll go wild and go to the moves : ) I stil haven't seen the Johnny Cash movie. Ciao, or um, Ciao!
