on Strike.................maybe the number of dots represent the frustration I felt yesterday, after I had dragged my 21 kilo suitcase to the Louvre post office to ship home and found out that window 12 was on strike that day................ugh.
Anyway, all has finished well. Bridget helped me today and we shipped 3 of my boxes and the suitcase, and two of her boxes HOME.
I have a shuttle booked (because the RER trains have been on strike, intermittently) and I'm practically all packed. Keisu arrives tomorrow and we'll drive through France to Barcelona, then I'll be on my way to California.

Stefano in Paris. We went to the top of the Eiffel Tower and he bought me a glass of champagne at the bar there. We almost didn't make it there. We made it finally because Stef missed his flight...the RER trains were on strike, all taxis taken, it was a nightmare. But, I got to have him over for an extra day, so I think it all worked out just fine : )
